
Hagar Elgendy - League Owner & Operator
Hagar Elgendy is a former Division I athlete at the University of Miami, where she represented Egypt in international competitions. She earned 7 National Championship Titles, set a National record, and placed second in the 2012 Olympic Trials while preparing for the Games. Hagar holds a Master’s from Tulane University and a medical degree from the University of Cincinnati.
Hagar is a former Chief Resident at the University of North Carolina, and currently a Sports Medicine Fellow at UNC. She’s also a former president of the council representing 1,100 residents and fellows at UNC. As Vice President and Chair of Community Development for the NFL Wives Association, Hagar is passionate about service in NFL communities.
With over 10 years in the NFL and nonprofit sectors, Hagar co-founded NFL FLAG Flag Football Elite with her husband, Cedric, with a mission to ensure that more than 50% of athletes receive scholarships, making the sport accessible to all. Above all her accomplishments, Hagar cherishes being a mother to her five children—Emmaus (8), Ava and Isabelle (7), Elias (5), and Eysah (2)—whom she calls her greatest joy.
