Cedric Peerman -  League Owner & Operator

Cedric Peerman is a 9-year veteran of the NFL, a 5-year team captain, Pro Bowler, and elected representative for the NFL Players Association. A standout player at the University of Virginia, Cedric earned recognition for his athleticism before transitioning to a successful professional career. He holds a Master's in Business Administration and Finance and is also a preacher, committed to serving his community with faith and purpose. 

Together with his wife, Cedric founded NFL FLAG Flag Football Elite, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing young athletes with a platform focused on skill development, leadership, and the foundations of safe play. The organization aims to teach kids the fundamentals of flag football while prioritizing a positive, non-contact environment that emphasizes safety and teamwork. As a father of five, Cedric is deeply passionate about creating opportunities for children to grow both on and off the field, shaping the next generation of athletes through mentorship and community support.


 



Hagar Elgendy - League Owner & Operator 

Hagar Elgendy is a former Division I athlete at the University of Miami, where she represented Egypt in international competitions. She earned 7 National Championship Titles, set a National record, and placed second in the 2012 Olympic Trials while preparing for the Games. Hagar holds a Master’s from Tulane University and a medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. 

Hagar is a former Chief Resident at the University of North Carolina, and currently a Sports Medicine Fellow at UNC. She’s also a former president of the council representing 1,100 residents and fellows at UNC. As Vice President and Chair of Community Development for the NFL Wives Association, Hagar is passionate about service in NFL communities.

With over 10 years in the NFL and nonprofit sectors, Hagar co-founded NFL FLAG Flag Football Elite with her husband, Cedric, with a mission to ensure that more than 50% of athletes receive scholarships, making the sport accessible to all. Above all her accomplishments, Hagar cherishes being a mother to her five children—Emmaus (8), Ava and Isabelle (7), Elias (5), and Eysah (2)—whom she calls her greatest joy.

 




Timothy Troy- League Staff


My name is Timothy Troy, husband and a father of a 2 year old. Multi sport athlete in High school with 2 state championships in those years. I have a degree in Psychology and I am interested in becoming a sport psychologist. I was a manager of customer service from 2021-2024 with the Durham bulls. I joined the NFL FLAG team because I believe in the mission and vision of the organization and I live for investing into others. 




Grayson Cox- League Staff

My name is Grayson Cox and I am a Junior at Northwood High School. I play two sports (Captain of Football and Lacrosse team). I have two sisters one at NC state and one that plays soccer for ECU. I joined the NFL FLAG team because I have an interest in sport medicine and sport management and I wanted to help and improve my skills. I believe that taking this opportunity will do both!
